By the biaxial rotation of a mold in an oven, plastic is fused in a closed female mold. This provides even walls, formed stress free, in almost any shape.

Since no forces are involved, tooling can be produced economically. Rotational molding can replace metal fabrication, laid up fiberglass, wood, and other plastic processes.

Rotational molding allows for the manufacturing of large and small hollow parts that are integral and seamless. There are few limitations to part configurations. Double walled parts can also be molded.
